Alright, I got my book bag, my planner, some school supplies...but what about my outfits?!? After 12 years of being under strict uniform policy, I am finally FREE! Bye bye tight polos and awkwardly baggy khakis and hello to ripped jeans, sandals and blouses! I cannot contain my excitement much longer so how else should I share how happy I am than writing it on my blog? Isn't that why I have this thing? haha. Below you will find some outfits I have created that I will be wearing during these hot summer days along with links to where you can buy them. Enjoy my look book :)

Okay, my first day of college. I have to make a good impression but I also don't want to be too showy. No worries! Boyfriend jeans are always the answer! My absolute favorite pair of boyfriend jeans - or as they call it, girlfriend jeans are from White House Black Market and you can find them here. A little background story on my oh-so-famous boyfriend jean hunt - absolutely terrible. Every jean I would try on would be loose on my lower legs, tight on my thighs, squish my butt entirely and the back would have an open gap. I loved boyfriend jeans and how they looked on everyone so I was determined to find a good pair that works well with my body. Low and behold, I walk into WHBM and the first mannequin is wearing them - and she was rocking them too. I almost didn't even want to try them on because of it was on the pricey side (they're on sale now!) but let me tell you, when those jeans slid on and they fit all my nooks and crannies, it was like a dream come true. Okay, done with that story. I just had to share that moment with you all. Anyways, my super soft loose tank top is from Forever 21 and you can find that here. The coral bralette is also from Forever 21, if you read my previous posts, bralettes are my absolute favorite piece of clothing. My mint mini book bag is from Zara, however, I don't see it on there online catalog but here is a link to other bags they have. I had no idea that Zara had cute bags but I'm glad I know now.

People who are close to me, know that I don't usually wear summer dresses - or even dresses at that. It's because I'm always running around or dropping things and bending over to get them and wearing leggings I don't have to worry about my ass coming out. However, I've noticed they are absolutely perfect for school. Especially when you're just too tired to pick out a cute top and a bottom - just throw over a dress and wrap a denim jacket around your waist and you're good to go! If you're interested I got the striped halter dress at Target - I couldn't find that exact dress online but here is something similar. If you're on the hunt for denim jackets I suggest either H&M, Forever 21 and Target. My laced-up sandals are from Call it Spring's Alice in Wonderland Edition and they are my favorite sandals thus far. They come in tan (seen above), black and a light pink - there's also a heel version of these.

Although it was hard to keep up with the cute outfits during this short semester, I whipped up this cute outfit perfect for you summer students. The shorts are high-waisted and loose for your own comfort and the baby blue crop top goes with anything from some white boyfriend jeans to cute shorts like the one's i'm wearing. I also decided to add a body chain to my outfit for that perfect summer look.
As the semester ends, I'll tell you the truth - looking cute was not my priority while I had essays due every day. As I like to say, when in doubt just wear a tshirt dress! You can make any outfit unique and beautiful just by adding your own touch, whether it's a body chain or a denim jacket.
