Alright, I waited a few weeks before writing this review because I really wanted to give this product some time before I judged it. My skin had been freaking out on me and I couldn't stand it. Although I was desperate to find a good new skincare line to start using, my wallet wasn't. So, I went to my favorite place ever, Target or as I call it "Tar-jay" (because I'm bougie sometimes). I was a little skeptical about having a drugstore product take over my face until I saw an aisle lined up with pastel pink and green products named Pixi by Petra.
I was in love. Not only was the packaging so pretty, the ingredients are all organic AND it's animal cruelty free. Triple thumbs up for that. Anyways, I bought a couple of their travel sized products and used them for a couple of weeks and this is my review. Here is my skincare routine followed by my personal review:
1. Makeup Melting Cleansing Cloths

Okay, first thought - it smells so GOOD! The wipes are very gentle on the skin and the smell of rose and chamomile makes taking off makeup enjoyable. There is one negative aspect about these wipes though and that is that you need to use up about 5 wipes to completely wipe off your makeup. Yes, the label says "makeup melting" but they were exaggerating just a bit. Overall, I think there are better makeup wipes out there for cheaper, however, none ever smell that good!
2. Glow Mud Mask

I bought this one in travel size because my skin is very sensitive to certain face masks so I didn't want to splurge on something that might ruin my face. So, after I wipe my makeup off I usually put on this green mud mask on my face about twice a week before completely washing my face. I choose to do this the days that I put the most makeup on. This stuff does wonders. This product leaves my skin so soft and hydrated. However, do not put this stuff AFTER exfoliating your face. This is because since your pores are open the chemicals in the mask may burn certain parts of your face - I have done this before and it does not feel good. So keep that in mind, mask first - then face wash your face.
3. Glow Mud Cleanser

Girl, this is the best face wash ever! I put this on twice a day - right when I wake up and right before I go to sleep. I used to have very dry skin and this face wash keeps my skin so hydrated without having it look oily. Also, some of my blemishes seemed to disappear the morning after I use this. It's a thin green "muddy" consistency and just a few drops will do its job. I first bought this in the travel size and quickly ran back to Target to buy this bigger bottle for just $15!
4. Glow Tonic Toner

This is also one of the other products that I bought in a travel size but went back to the store to buy the bigger bottle because I just couldn't get enough! So after your face is all washed and cleaned, you pour a few drops of this toner onto a cotton pad and wipe all throughout your face and neck. This product is proven to exfoliate and remove dead skin cells as well as revealing healthy glowing skin. Who doesn't like to glow? I clean my face with this every morning and night before going to sleep.
5. Rose Oil Blend

I was a bit skeptical when I first bought this because even though I have dry skin I didn't want to look oily. But, do you see how cute the bottle is? And it smells rose petals. Lucky for me, this is a dry oil. Which means your face doesn't look greasy after applying it because it dries up after a few minutes. Before putting on makeup I like to put about 1-2 drops onto my hand and pat all over my face. At night, I mix the same amount with my moisturizer and I wake up feeling hydrated and silky smooth. This oil contains Vitamin E which helps protect, nourish and strengthen your skin.

Overall, I am head over heels with this brand. It's so hard to find something this good and this affordable. Pixi also has a cosmetic line which I will be trying soon. If any of you have tried any other of their products that I haven't mentioned - tell me below!
Xoxo,
Yay ♥
