5 LOOKS FOR WINTER

People from Miami tend to struggle with their "winter style" because we really don't have a reason to dress up in winter coats, boots, etc. Our winter consists of MAYBE 70 degree weather and a whole lot of humidity. Most of us travel for the holidays to cooler areas yet have absolutely no idea how to dress appropriately. I have put together a variety of outfits that could help you with any occasion during your winter getaway. I'll be wearing these for my trip to Blue Ridge, Georgia so stay updated on that blog post by subscribing via email. Enjoy!

ONE

If you have gone coat shopping before, you already know how freakin expensive they are. I'm talking about hundreds and hundreds of dollars for coats, boots, things you probably will never wear again if you live in Miami. Your best bet is to shop at Burlington Coat Factory and Marshalls for affordable GREAT quality puffers, jackets, coats, etc. Some people walk inside these discounted retailer stores and walk right out because it is a complete mess, but trust me! Walk to the winter coats section and the messy store will soon be forgotten. I picked up the cutest designer jackets at these stores for more than half off.

Sadly, you can't really shop online at these stores because their inventory is mostly limited meaning they don't stock up on everything, but I will add the brands of the sweatersI bought at the store so you can get an idea of some of the things you can find along with the price I got it for.

Olive Green Parka - Thread & Supply ($39.99)

Cowl Neck Long Sleeve - Potter's Pot ($12.99)

TWO

If you are planning on traveling to a destination where it might snow, waterproof boots are a must! They are really expensive so I suggest checking Poshmark, Ebay and/or Amazon for great deals! These are Khombu snow boots with memory foam and fur inside!

Navy Poly-Fill Jacket - Bass ($79.99)

Off-White Knit Sweater - Premise ($12.99)

Khombu Gray Snow Boots - Ebay

Pink Mirrored Sunglasses - Alkas/Market

THREE

Going out for dinner out in the cold can sometimes be challenging because you can end up layering too much and not looking as "chic" as you wanted.

Ribbed Beige Sweater

Pink Mirrored Sunglasses

FOUR

For days that are not so cold and all you need is a light jacket - this is the perfect and comfiest outfit!

Pink Bomber Jacket - Cali 1850 ($19.99)

Skinny Jeans - The Limited

FIVE

If you're planning on going hiking with your family (or pup) this is the perfect outfit for you. I mean, who says you can't look stylish while hiking a mountain?

If it gets too cold during your adventures, just throw a puffer jacket on! And don't forget that your pets are people too! They need to be warm just like you!

Black Puffer Jacker - Ashley ($19.99)

I hope this post will help you in your future chilly endeavors! Don't forget to subscribe as I will be posting a recap on my trip to Georgia and wearing some of these outfits and more!

Oh, by the way, Happy New Years!

What are your New Years Resolutions?

Xoxo,

Yay ♥
